Palacios to Hold Two Centennial Events on HalloweenIn honor of the city's hundredth birthday this year, Palacios will hold two events on Saturday, October 31st. The first will be an Historic Home Tour sponsored by the Palacios Area Historical Association. The tour will begin from the City By the Sea Museum at 401 Commerce Street where participants will pick up a brochure and CD that will guide them around town to look at interesting historic buildings and hear their stories and tour inside some of them. The Home Tour will be between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm. A $5 donation per vehicle is suggested. A Ghost Walk will begin at dusk in the Palacios Cemetery, located on 12th Street between Collins Drive and Perryman. Palacios citizens will take on the personas of the city's founding fathers (and mothers) buried there, to tell the stories of some of the individuals who played prominent roles in making Palacios what it is today. Admission is $5 and will benefit the Palacios Area Fund. Venture back in time 100 years by getting to know the people who lived in Palacios then and the homes they lived in. Contact:
